Dear All,

I am trying to link/match my PC Soundcard output (speaker) into pin2 (external mic) on the rear accessory socket on a GM340 for a Parrot repeater project.  The Mic input on the radio is 560 AC/660 DC ohms and I think the headphone/speaker on the PC is about 8 ohms.

When the PTT is activated on the rear accessory socket (Pin 3) all I get is a blank carrier from a listening radio?

Do I amplify the PC end or suppress the impedance at the mic end?

Does anyone have any Ideas of getting around the problem?

Jon
