Hi,

I've got this question that I'm trying to find an answer for and I hope you can help me.

If I don't want to read the CP but to start from scratch, could I use Device Recover option to reset the radio no matter the firmware? I don't care what's inside, I want to program it to my taste.
And also, some radios have this startup password [mine does]. Would Device Recover get rid of this too?

I have never owned a Motorola radio before or used its software, only cheap Chinese ones, and my budget is too tight for a brand new Motorola radio so I'm considering second hand devices I find online but I'm not sure to pull the trigger.

Thanks
