motorola 350 error 3000

hi can any1 help please im trying to read the code plug off my gm350 to put into gm340,i can read/write on the 340 but when i try 2 read off the 350 im getting radio not supported by this cps error 3000,any ideas,im using R03.11.09

Hi,

You cannot use Waris GP/GM300 CPS to program your GM350 radio (another series, called Ariane).

GM350 software is part number ENVN4633, latest version seems to be R03.09.01 (ENVN4633G from Feb.1998)

The programming cable is different too, you have to use GTF374A for GM350.

Easiest way is to create a new codeplug for the 340. you arent going to be able to read off the 350 and then pump it into the 340 anyway.

I take it you have a list of freqs and tones etc, otherwise its hunt for the licence time !
