problem with my GP 380 codeplug

Hello everybody, there is a problem I don't understand with my codeplug.

GP 380 has 255 channels.

A codeplug with 52 channels where CPS says 55.20 % free space works always okay in the radio.

But the same codeplug with 141 channels where CPS says 38.63 % free space always make a CODEPLUG ERRor on the radio !

Is there anybody understands anything
