"Test 1 failed"              once                   hardware codeplug error,           reprogram codeplug. If
                                                          possibly codeplug structure        message re-occurs,replace
                                                          mismatch or non-existent           main board or retur it to             
                                                          codeplug.                                Motorola depot.
 

"Test 2 failed"              twice                  select 5 application vector        reprogram codeplug and retest
                                                          corrupted                              the radio.


"Test 3 failed"             three times           codeplug checksum error           reprogram codeplug and retest
                                                                                                      the radio


"Test 4 failed"             four times             codeplug version error               reprogram codeplug using
                                                                                                      correct version and retest
                                                                                                      the radio.


"Test 5 failed"             five times             ROM checksum test failure         turn radio off then on again.
                                                                                                      If message re-occurs replace
                                                                                                      main board or return it to
                                                                                                      Motorola depot.

"Test 6 failed"             six times               RAM checksum test failure         turn radio off then on again.
                                                                                                      If message re-occurs replace
                                                                                                      main board or return it to
                                                                                                      Motorola depot.
