Hi guys, hoping you can help me out.

The GM 380 I'm currently playing with, constantly has the middle LED always lit (yellow / amber colour)

From what I've been reading, it indicated that the radio has recieved a call and pressing a call cancle / monirot button should clear it (From what I understand)

I have tried a new codeplug from scratch with only one channel - Using a V7 Codeplug and CPS 3.09.03

Any Ideas?

Just a thought, have a look in the RF settings, from memory there is a timer in the RX section that will set the radio from monitor back into full PL Code (CTCSS) mode after the PTT has been pressed if I remember correctly it can be set from 1 - 60 secs, try a lower setting? or maybe there is no PL Code set in the "Per Channel" Menu, which would cause the radio to be in monitor mode all the time with the amber light being on constantly?

Can't think of anything else

Nick

Hi there,
Check to see if you have any microphone on/off hook setting under Misc or try to earth the metal clip at the back of the microphone and see if the light goes out.

Nope checked both... and still there...

The Radio functions as it should without an issue... I just don't understand the Yellow/Amber (middle LED) being lit.

Ah well....
