GP340 Password

Hi

I am completely new to radio programming, I have a GP340 which I got from a mate and when I tried to program the radio it asked for radio password, I asked my mate but he can't remember it, is there anyway to bypass the password and reset it?

Thanks for your reply, where abouts can I find this utility I looked in the download section and saw everyhing in there but its just videos and pdf files am I looking in the wrong bit?

You could also write a new codeplug without a password to the radio.
