gm380 display address

Gm380 problem,i have two gm380s here that for some reason are not clearing the display address when cleared in cps,so when i write new tagging the letters from the old tagging are still there? its really getting to me or am i missing something.does anyone have a vhf and uhf gm380 4.12 yes 4.12 codeplug blank.
