Hi mupolovac71,
thank you for answer. It,s ok to upgrade codeplug ver. 5.0 to codeplug ver 7.0 using program R03 09 03. I am afraid to upgrade radio to codeplug ver 7.0, using program flash upgrade R 03 11 02 . Could you explain how I have to do? is it dangerous for the two radios? Regards Bill

Hi bill.
no it is not so dangerous, there is some hazard but if you follow all instruction in read me file you do not have to worry.First of all,you should save codeplug of each radios,or some gays said is better to save all softspots using global tuner for profess. radios R02.12.00,if something goes wrong to rewrite information. When you finish that, you start to upgrade the radios. REMEMBER you must follow all instruction for upgrading the radios, carefully read,if is needed couple times, read me text, and then start upgrade of radios. I forget to ask you do you have all equipment needed for upgrading radios, programming cable, flash adapter? Try it, it is not so hard to do.

Hi mupolovac71,
I read yesterday the readme.txt. I saw It's important to follow all instructions for upgrading.
My other problem is that I don't have the flash adapter but I have a normal ribless programming cable.
I also never used the global tuner for profess. radios R02.12.00. Is it difficult ?
Thanks for all.

Hi bill
no it is not difficult at all, when you open it press file, then read radio information and softpots, after finish of reading save file wherever you wont, and that is it.You can build flash adapter by your self, home made, just look at upload area, there is some schematic, some of them I put there,I also made adapter from that schematic, works just fine, upgrade 10 radios .Read carefully how to connect cable, and I think you will need 25pin to 9 pin adapter,if you do not have 25 pin connector on your computer.
