i have to 340s and on pressing the ptt it flashes red and on release it does to. but the radios at work stay on green while the ptt in pressed. Does this depend on its setup?  Ive got the cps and cant find a way to change it, can it be changed?

you sure both are 340's. The 340 has red flash, the 640 (trunked version) had green (from memory) when rx'ing.
