Looking for some help.
In the attached pdf file you can see information on how to make an repeater out of 2 waris gm radios; but it is written for cdm radios, but I can't find the right settings to make it work with 2 gm360's.
Some how can tell me what settings I have to make to have this working??

Thanks!

I have a friend who has exactly the set up you are looking for - 2 x gm380's and a cheap chinese connector cable between the 2.

I will give him a shout later, and get him to download the codeplugs for me.

Send me an email address and I will ping them over to you.

I have a friend who has done it with 2 x gm380's- but im yet to extract the codeplugs out of him, to take a look.

I do know that his kit is a simple chinese link kit, rather than the full 'rick' kit - which needs different settings.

Hes also upgraded to win 7, and so is having the same 'issues' as I am !

Hopefully be in the next week or so.

all you need to make a repeater is 2x gm accessorie connectors

tx radio gpio lines
pin 3 voice ptt
pin 2 tx audio
pin 7 ground
pin 10 ignition scence

rx radio

pin 8 car sterio mute if you want a 5 second hang time or pl/dpl detect if you dont, this connects to pin 3 of tx
pin 7 ground to pin 7 of tx
pin 11 accessorie connector audio make sure this is set to filterd squelched, to pin 2 of tx
pin 10 ignition scence to 12v on both radios

then on the tx gm adjust the gain on the accessorie mic connection to suit audio qualatie

Thanks for your answer,

How to make the hardware is not the problem, but the software (codeplug) is the problem, I can't get it to work.

Can you help me with two codeplugs for the gm series so I can get it to work?
(no problem is they are gm340, gm360 or 380; If I have a working set I can understand how to change them to the other ones)

you should just be able to adjust the settings in the gp i/o box as i understand it. depends on your individual situation ie are you using 5 tone signalling or multiple pl tones etc?
