I just wondered, as you said he HAD been arrested back in November 2009 (post copied and quoted in my reply 2 posts above).

Give the police a ring with your crime number. Ask about the progress of the case. You are entitled (as Ive said) to a progress update under the victims charter.

Just because others haven't been updated, doesn't mean nothings happened.

If its his first offence, he's looking at a caution. No fine, just a 'slap on the wrist'. All the police will tell you that 'the matter is closed'.

the police wont get your money back for you. You have to do that yourself. Find out where he lives now, and issue a county court summons for him, detailling what he owes you. If he doesn't pay, then get the baliffs involved, to knock on his door.

Hi George - he doesnt owe me anything this guy. But he did "use me" for my knowledge to make financial gains for himself - he also told a few stories about me which I didnt like. He left his Office at 27 Church Street in September 2009 - staff turned up to work (he had 4 staff working for him for 3 months, none got a paid a penny from him) and all office was empty - he did one to canada. I know returned to the UK in January 2010 as I heard his voice on the town centre radio network asking for assistance on St Mary's Street in Preston - he gave his callsign as "ANDREW GREEN of IGEN DESIGN 27 CHURCH STREET" said he was walking home "from work" (bare in mind his work was vacant as he fled and owed rent money etc) when 2 lads in a sports car pinned him up against a wall. When I heard his voice I rang the Police to report the mis-use by him of using a town net radio for a ficticious business. All that happened is that the Police went round to his mums address to check he was ok! Andrew wasnt there but the Police saw about 8 tetra radios (all of which belong to NEIL HODKIN of Prosure Uk LTd for props) and just left them there. They needed to speak to Andrew and he agreed over the phone to meet them in a layby under the condition that they didnt arrest him! (guilty conscience?Huh?) at this time there was about 5 complaints of fraud made to the Police including one from Neil (Neil by the way gave the tetras to Andrew when he still had his business to program then up - he also gave him £450 in cash for 2 x MTP850s which he hasnt received). Andrew met the Police (one was PC SWAYNE i believe) they asked if he was OK following his outburst on the town net and asked where he got the tetras from - he said he imported them from canada (bollocks) then they let him on his way. That was in JAN 2010 and since then hes been very silent. I was once locked in up in a cell for 18 hrs becuase I was seen with an MTH800, it was sent away then returned to me. I was later released without charge (2 weeks later). It seems apparant to me that this guy slips through the net and has evaded any legal challenges for the last 8 months. I have a bone to pick with him as he wrote a 12 page statement to the Police about me which cost me a raid on 13/08/2009 at 0830hrs a day in custody and being accused of hacking into the Police radio network. This has been dealt with in April 2010 - the final charges being 5 x fraud my misrepresentation ( I sent 4 fake emails to Sepura to try and get a copy of radio manager and 1 to Thames Valley to try and get a reset PIN for a de-comissioned radio) I got a fine of £1850. But my so-called friend at the time (MR WEALTHY) was visited by the Police the day before at his office, and in a bid to stop them searching his office he gave false information to the Police about me which lead to a search warrant being obtained and ME being taken in. I dont mind talking about this by the way, a week later he cleared the office, sold his car etc and went to canada. Any Questions?Huh??

No questions your honor.

Having just re read the entire thread, I realise that you havent actually been stung by this perosn, so that's why you wont get any info out of the police, as you aren't directly a 'victim'. If you have had a 'loss' from him, then report it, so you become part of the case.

To make a couple of comments on some of the things you have said - Even ofcom arent interested in interference cases, unless you really badger them. The police simply aren't capable of investigaitng someone using a raido on a network like shop or pub watch, (and) simply aren't interested.
Only real way to get rid of these people is to go digital, or encrypted. A huge cost for a small scheme to bear. And besides, if he's programming high end radios like he seems to be, then its totally possible he will simply go out and buy a radio, and program it to the scheme.

A Ltd company has its on legal right, its its own 'entity'. If he did one, and didnt pay anyone a penny, then its the company that owes the money, not him directly. I would make life interesting for him, by talking to companies house, and trying to get him stuck off as a director. that way, he wont be able to start ltd companies, and will have to be a sole trader - and then, if he doesnt pay, you can go after him and his assets in court.

Owning a tetra set isnt illegal in any way, shape or form, If he got them legitimately (in fact, it doesn't matter how he obtained them - if the police cant PROVE he got them by theft or deception, then they cant touch him). As you have found out, some officers will sieze and make enquiries. Others the 'too difficult' light comes on, and they wont bother.

As to your arrest / raid etc, All I can say is that 99% of the forces got rid of their radio engineers when airwave came in, and that the IT department now looks after their radios. All your experts and engineers, who would of told the police that its impossible to hack into their net, are now on the dole queue !.

Fraud by false rep is an easy one to prove now since the fraud act. If you wanted the software for your radios, then buy a copy of it - sepura have no problems selling it to a legit company - especially if you are buying a radio or two off them at the same time !

Good reply cheers George. I have no idea whats happening with this guy but it doesnt seem to be anything. He used me to program the Motorola TETRA series of radios and Also some sepura radios using the Dealer programmer as he wasnt clever enough to do them himself. I never got a penny off him either, however his name is now scarred in the whole radio community so I doubt he will be returning to it again.
What do you do george? with a name like EMS GEORGE I assume your in USA? I am humble driver thats all but in my spare time I fix radios and computer equipment including mobile phones! Yeah sepura stuff isnt as good as motorola in my opinion, I do prefer motorola. And ive given up trying to get radio manager as Im not a LTD Co, and besides, I dont think SEPURA like me!

Nope, im in the UK (down Sarf').

I work for an event management company, doing all their radios etc, co-ordinating their radio bandplans, programming etc. The radio part of the business gets heavily involved with shop and pub watch schemes on the south coast, and muggins gets the job of comissioning / maintaining them.

Im in the middle of sorting out our change over of 200 radios to mototrbo digital units. Its taken a while to get used to site roaming and things like that, and having to purchase motorola kit, as nobody makes 'far east' kit for them yet. (and begging for kit, when you realise a speaker mic is £70).

I have had issues with people programming their own radios to our schemes before, so I know how annoying it can be when someone jumps on a scheme - but theres nothing much that can be done about it. Take a look at ofcom's prosecution stats (freely available on their website), and they give you an idea of the numbers for the past 5 years. they only concentrate on pirate radio stations. Set one of those up, and within 5 mins they are hacking down your transmitter it seems !.

Good luck with this bloke - but I really dont see you getting anywhere fast. I'm sure he will come a cropper sometime in the future.

Habbo.com is affiliated with that last video. They are part of the Sulake Corporation. Contact details:

http://www.sulake.com/contact/local_offices?navi=7.2

although when you ring the UK LONDON office its a pre-recorded message.

This all stems from Andrew's old site www.spergstudios.co.uk which is suspended.

As she is also selling a wedding dress i would take a guess the relationships off.........
I know this chap is accused of doing wrong, but i thing we should hold off involving relatives etc on our lovely forum.
Unless she starts selling radios too.
