I must apologise, it seems as if I may have created the wrong impression. I am not located in the UK
(If I was, I would likely not be in this situation right now.) I am actually located in Cape Town, Sunny South Africa.
If the "pesky Dealer" does not remove the password (or is that "Dealer" and "Pesky password"?) I hope that there is still something someone can do to assist me.....but lets not go there yet, lets see what happens when I get it all together.

Johnny - interesting post this mate............. I'm also from Cape Town, living in the UK at the moment but moving back to sunny Vredehoek in 2 weeks time and will be using my radio on the neighbourhood watch frequency.
Have also purchased a CP040 - also sitting with the same password problem
- Rob sold me the latest CPS ............ so now to try resolve the numpty issue!
