Hallo Dave and everybody, with this multi connections cable i got from Dave, I now got connections to the radio and 3 others, which I never got in connections with with usb->seriel. The funny thing with usb cables is that it works with a lot of my others radios.
So my conclusion is that the real seriel cable is the most secret way to get connections,
Now I am happy again and thanks for helping.

When trying to read the radio (gm340) it says couldn't find port.

Any ideas, could it be the lead i am using from the gp900 ?

I am sure the pin outs are the same Huh
