I currently have radios programs for 5 different departments and would like to be able to send a broadcast over the radios during emergecy situations.  Does anyone know how to set up a broadcast  codeplug so that a broadcast can be made over multiple frequencies during emergency situations.  I am working with VHF radios, all Motorola of various types.

one way add an additional channel to each set eg, cn 6< ( depending how many chn's are already used )

prg radios as follows
then department 1 has chn 1 and chn 6
then department 2 has chn 2 and chn 6
then department 3 has chn 3 and chn 6
then department 4 has chn 4 and chn 6
then department 5 has chn 5 and chn 6

all sets set to scan their home channel and chn 6, set resume scan etc, also set for shortest period you can

remember a set in TX wont receive the broadcast until it returns to RX and scan resume starts

then a broadcast can be made by using chn 6, by any set
