Just a quick note:

Flash upgrade programs are series specific.
You must use the WARIS 5T PORTABLE flash upgrade for GP340 GP344 GP360 GP380 GP388.
You must use the WARIS 5T MOBILE flash upgrade for GM340 GM360 GM380
You must use the WARIS MPT PORTABLE flash upgrade for GP640 GP644 GP680 GP688
You must use the WARIS MPT MOBILE flash upgrade for GM640 GM660 GM1280
Do not use portable flash programs for mobile radios and vice versa.

Make sure you are confident with the procedure as you MUST use a flash adaptor between the programming lead and the RIB box (or computer if you use a RIBless lead) and the cheap hong-kong RIBless programming leads DO NOT support flash upgrading.
They are missing a required pin that controls the bootstrap mode.
You can add this pin in if you know which contact is for bootstrap control.
By ignoring the above you risk crashing the firmware rom or the codeplug data and codeplug architecture.

THE RADIO MUST BE IN BOOTSTRAP MODE TO FLASH UPGRADE

DO NOT ATTEMPT WITHOUT A FLASH ADAPTOR

I am able to successfully recover 99% of crashed radios.
If you don't have a flash adaptor and genuine RIBless lead or genuine lead and RLN4008 RIB box - DON'T TRY FLASHING!

Also, i here that the WARIS Lab flashkit is doing the rounds. This is for ADVANCED flash upgraders only, the risks are high if you are not familar with TANAPA codes, model breakdowns, codplug phase layouts etc. Don't understand what you are doing then you risk getting stuck with an apparently dead radio!

RIBless leads support 115k baud rate flashing.
RIB box and program/test cable support 19k baud flashing.

If you are unsure then ASK for help. I'm here to help.
