Hi Guys, struggling with CM340 Lowband. I cannot read radio with any copy of CPS that I have. Communication tester tool tells me software version R03.06.06 and codeplug CP3.14 When I try to access radio I am getting "Codeplug corrupt" message. Is this recoverable? I dont have a CM codeplug stored on my computer, neither do I think I have the best CPS version to try and get into this. Anybody located near Skipton or Keighley area of Yorkshire able to help? Radio is to be programmed to MSA freq. for rally marshalling use. Joe

The CP/CM series use a different type of CPS (Commercial Series). From the CPS numbers you have quoted it sounds like you are trying to use GP/GM series software to programme. I have R05.15 (from memory) for the commercial series, however I have only ever used it for CP040's, not mobiles...

If your codeplug is corrupt its not good, you can try and force a 'good' codeplug over the top, but if it is corrupt it's a return to Motorola job I'm afraid. However, if you are using the wrong CPS it could be telling you it's corrupt because it's doesn't recognise it!

Drop Rob a message and get quoted for CP/CM series CPS, it's not cheap, but it will allow you to make changes in the future as and when you need to (use the tab at the top of the page- 'contact admin team'). Also double check with Rob it is the Commercial Series CPS you require... All of my experience is with the GP series and TRBO range!
