Dave,

You probably haven't got a reply because there have been several threads started recently about removing/bypassing codeplug passwords. All of the information is on the forum already, it's just a case of finding it.

The quickest thing to do is over write the current codeplug with an archive codeplug from the CPS. Just find one that matches your model and drop it straight over the top. In theory the person who sold you the radio should know the password, or, be able to tell you who to contact in order to retrieve it.

There are other options to finding passwords, but I think the easiest way would be to over write the existing!

Personally no, I keep the GP/CP series CPS and flash tools just incase I need them, but don't actively use them as much as I'm now fully TRBO.

What CPS version are you using? Sounds like you could use a newer CPS version as the version you are using at the minute will not support the latest codeplug version.

That's not the newest version of the CPS... I will have a look and let you know what it is.

There might be someone out there that has a codeplug you could use. I will double check my archive of codeplugs, but don't think I have from memory!

The CPS version I have is R03.11.15 which I believe is the newest.

I have a codeplug version 7, but not 6...
