It should do it automatically when you click to upgrade the radio in the cps.

It will fail the first time you do it, and leave the radio hanging in bootloader. Secod time you try, it will work and upoad to the radio.

I've got the service manual here, will have a quick look and see if there's any way of forcing it into flashzap mode.

no, I cant see anything in the service manual to force it into boot mode.

Found it:

Push Emergency button and PTT, whilst turning the radio on.

User forced flash mode.
