Ok, so I was trying to find an example video on youtube of the TRBO equipment I use for a client. After much 'hunting' I could'nt find anything in English which shows the basic features of TRBO and some of the more advanced.

My question... Is it worth me taking the time to make a video showing some of TRBO's features and would anyone find this useful or interesting? I guess there are people out there who have never seen (physically) or used TRBO but are interested in it.

Comments and votes welcomed... and if there is a specific subject you would like covered just make a comment (please note- I am not going to show you how to hack into systems or such like. So please don't ask  Smiley ).

I'm not going to put a 'promised' up-load limit/date/time on this as it all depends when I have time, but as I say if there is interest I am willing to take the time to put my not so good video skills to test  Cheesy

I wish I could speak for thousands but I would be interested

My company uses analogue systems, with each job needing seperate programming.  I would like to drag the company into the modern world but don't have enough knowledge yet of digital systems to make a case

Anything is particular you would like to know about, or just a general walk-through?

That would be of great interest.

As someone relatively new to Mototrbo it would be good to start with some of the basics, some suggestions:

Simplex digital programming - the difference between All Call, Private Call, Group Call - any advice on numbering schemes.
Scan & Scan Lists
RX Group Lists
Repeater configuration
Privacy

In a further series maybe look at:

Radio IP address - when this is used
Connection to a PC and some of the PC based software
GPS - features
Telemetry

Hope this helps?

The question is - how different is the us version. On the gp series, there was a fair bit.
