If you wouldnt mind posting it to help others - considering the vertex is in reality a re badged dp3400 or 3600 - and im sure some of us will switch over / have to use them at some point.

This is the battery code for Vertex Standard VX 350 series radios I imagine their other models would follow suit:

New Battery Pack DATE CODE

All Vertex Standard battery pack Date Code scheme is following.

DATE CODE: 4 Characters

Character 1: (Left end)

                      2005 = E
                      2006 = F
                      2007 = G
                      2008 = H
                      2009 = I
                      2010 = J
                      2011 = K

Character 2 and 3:

Shows production week
                      eg. 25 (25th week in a year)

Character 4 (Right end)
                      Revision number
                               A
                               B
                               C

<Sample code>
For instance;
  Date Code = [H25A]

This means, production in 2008/ 25 week (around JUNE) and revision number is 'A'.
