hi im putting 2 radios in my car one cm140 and one phillips fm1100, and thinking if making a box with 2 powercon connectors on for when they are removed. the rating on the connectors is 20A but for 240v Ac, doesnt say anything for 12V Dc.

Has anyone done anything like this if so id like to hear what you have done.

Cheers
Dan

powercons are rated for 20a at mains, it should be no problems at 12v.

Ive used speakons before, where theres no chance of anyone plugging in any speakers !. Also, if you ever break one, youve got craplins (sorry, maplins) all over the country to get an emergency replacement.
