A friend gave me 16 gp340's to program. I've managed to program 8 with programing software R03.01.02_EN. But it won't program/read the other 8 radios, which are a mix of R03.10.03 & R03.09.07.

What version software do I need to program these versions and where can I buy it from?

Thanks James

Rob is a dealer on here, with 'site' rates. Your software is a very old version, which to be honest, it the version people download off the net.........

Its around the £100 mark. Make sure you are using a proper motorola cable if you want to flash them all up to the latest firmware version. Some people have tried with the afternarket cables, which result in some gp 340 paper weights.

there are some decent video guides on here for programming the features in, although if youve figured out how to do the basics, thats perhaps all your mate wants !.

I've got the proper cable and I've got experiences with programing gp300 in dos. As I've said I've managed to program 8 without any problems. Just the other 8 I can't do. I read somewhere that the software was around £40. I didn't know it was over 100.  Huh

I can't download any of the videos. It says I need to be subscribed.  Sad
