RSS with ribless can't access gm340

Hello,

I'm getting stuck with my GR500 repeater (2xGM340) with basic rick.
I've started a machine with win98 start-up disk, run RSS R05.00.00, do all the necessary steps to access GM340 radio with ribless cable but without success.
To be sure that the codeplug is not corrupted on the radios, I'm able to read the radios with CPS successfully .

I'll appreciate any help in that matter.

Just confirm - you are using the right CPS aren't you.

For the gp / gm series - as we are on V15 from memory now !, and I dont recognise R05.00.00 at all. EMEA stuff is usually D01.15.01_EN or something like that.

I didn't understand what you want to know but I'm using RSS R05.00.00  and CPS R03.10.03

Like EMSGEORGE said, RSS R05.00.00 is DOS application used for old GM300 RADIUS Series (1990's).

Look at the back of yours radios, check stickers, often they have FW reference, it will help to determine which CPS (windows software for GM3xx Waris Series radios) you need to program radios.

Latest release is ENVN4005Y CPS R03.11.15 (09-Dec-2010) and latest firmware is ENVN4026 R03.15.00.

Still to confirm one thing: All the functionalities that can be programmed with RSS are accessible with CPS even if the GM340 will be used in a GR500 repeater with basic controller.
