Can someone advise where I can lay my hands on a flash upgrade cable/adapter for my CP040's? I have 8 at the moment, all running different firmware! I have a copy of the firmware for the latest unit, but my USB programming cable doesn't support flash upgrade.

I guess if it's swappable for a GP340 series flash cable that would also be a bonus, as I have 8 of those also as well, and 4 GP344 series units!

The CP040 uses a completely different flashcable!
Different plugs to the radio and different bootcontrol enable.
GM/GP3xx (bootcontrol must be grounded to enable the bootmode).
CP040 (the tip of the 2,5mm plug must be set to -9V (1k Ohm in series),to enter the bootstrap mode.

Here are the Motorola hardware part numbers you need for CP040 firmware / flash upgrades
Cable: 3080369B72
Adapter: RLN5583A
RIB: RLN4008E
