Readout SDS MTP850

Hi everybody,

i have two MTP850, Connection Cable and the CPS. I want to send a SDS from one radio to the other one and to readout the SDS with a Java program. My idea is to use the radios as modems and using the PEI to readout. Unfortunately I only can use the radios in the Direct Mode and the given description in the TETRA Terminals Product Information Manual is given how to use the radios as modems don't work:

1. Connect the data cable to the terminal’s data port.
2. Connect the other end of the data cable to the computer.
3. Power up the terminal
4. From the terminal’s menu, select Setup > Data Setup > Voice and Data (or Data) mode option

Have anyone an idea about that or have done this before?
